Website proposal for ARNH Testing & Diagnostics Ltd

We built two pages from your brief before writing this: your home page and your Electronic Leak Detection page, linked above. They are mockups, a first look at how we read your brief rather than a fixed design. If we work together, we start with a discovery session to go deeper into the brief and agree the look and feel with you, and the design can change as much as you want. Your own photos, credentials and contact details go where the grey placeholders sit. Our recommendation is the fully written site at £6,500. The detail follows.

What we took from your brief

  • ARNH should read as a specialist commercial roof testing and diagnostics firm. It is not a general surveying practice or a roofing contractor, and residential work is limited to roof testing and reports.
  • The readers are estates and facilities teams, building owners, property managers, developers, consultants, main contractors and roofing contractors. They are looking for method, evidence and a clear report.
  • Each test needs its own page explaining what it is, when it is the right choice, what its limitations are and what the client receives.
  • The site needs to be found for the searches your clients already make, for the services and for the sectors you work in.
  • A simple route to a survey request, on every page.
  • A first stage that you can add to, with case studies when you have them.

With no case studies yet, the site has to earn trust by how it explains the work: what each test finds, what it cannot find and what the client gets.

How we would build it

Built to look like ARNH. Your navy, grey and white, your own photography, and a layout that reads like an engineering consultancy, not a trades website.

Technically correct, in plain commercial language. The limits of each method are stated as clearly as its strengths. Whoever writes the first draft, your team approves every technical claim before it goes live.

Findable by the people searching for you. Each service has its own page, address, title and description, and the content answers the questions your clients ask.

Easy to run yourselves. Your team publishes News & Insights articles, adds services and updates the team page through a simple editor.

Two ways to do it

Fully written

£6,500

Everything above, plus:

  • We write the 15 pages and three launch articles. We hold two interviews of about an hour with you or your technical lead and draft every page.
  • Four dedicated sector pages, for hospitals, airports, hotels and apartment blocks, each written around that sector's buildings, access and requirements. These are the four sector searches in your brief, and a page of its own is the most reliable way to appear for each one.
  • Two rounds of changes, and your team approves the technical detail before anything goes live.

You supply the words

£4,500

Everything above, with your team writing the 15 pages and three launch articles. We edit the copy for clarity and search, then build the pages. One round of changes is included. The Commercial page carries a short section on each of hospitals, airports, hotels and apartment blocks. Dedicated pages for those four can be added at £400 each.

We recommend the fully written option. The technical pages and articles are the part of the brief that matters most, and they take the longest to get right. The £2,000 difference buys the interviews, a finished draft of every page and the four sector pages. If your team has the time to write, the second option is a fair choice.

After launch (optional)

SEO and site management: £500 a month

A new website starts with no search history, so Google has little reason to show it at first. Sites become visible by staying technically sound and by answering, month after month, the questions people search for. Each article we write answers one of those questions and links to the matching service page, and the monthly report shows you which searches and enquiries the site is bringing in. Without this, the site stays as it was on launch day.

The £500 covers:

  • Hosting, security and software updates
  • One technical article a month, for your approval. The first six cover the questions from your brief that are not launch articles.
  • Monthly search work: checking how each page is indexed and found, tuning titles, descriptions and links, and fixing anything Search Console flags
  • A monthly report: the searches you appear for, enquiries from the site, and what we changed
  • Up to four small content changes a month, such as text edits, new images or a new team member

The minimum term is six months, which covers the six remaining questions from your brief. After that it runs month to month.

If you would rather not, we hand over everything and you pay the hosting provider directly.

We do not promise rankings or enquiry numbers. A new site takes time to build visibility. What we commit to is what you can check at handover: a page for every service, editable titles and descriptions, a sitemap submitted to Google, and Search Console set up to monitor indexing.

What is not included

Case studies (added when you have them), a photography shoot, general building surveying content, and articles beyond those listed in your option.

What we need from you

  • Your logo files and any brand guidelines
  • Your photos and drone footage of roofs, equipment and jobs
  • Your accreditations, certifications, memberships and insurance, with any expiry dates
  • Names, roles, qualifications and photos of the people who inspect, test, report and support
  • A sample report with client details removed, if you have one
  • Your company details, the areas you cover and anything about the wider group you want on the site
  • A quick check of the sector list (your brief lists sectors in two places, so we merged them)
  • Access to your domain

Timeline

Five to six weeks to launch from receiving your content: your logo and photos, plus the first interview for the fully written option or your finished copy for the other.

Payment

50% to start and 50% at launch: £3,250 each on the fully written option, £2,250 each on the other.
